Citizens of Macedonia are able to invest in American government bonds. Kosta Kostadinovski from “Capital Asset Management” confirmed that it is possible to buy US government bonds at good prices with an annual yield greater than 3 percent.
A bond is a financial instrument, which provides security of invested funds, guaranteed interest and payment of principal.
“For the larger number of citizens, it is appropriate to invest in safe placements with a fixed yield. These low risk investments are a feature of the US-issued bond that has the highest credit rating from multiple international rating agencies, such as Fitch and Moody’s. Then there is the guaranteed interest – when you invest in a bond you earn from the interest and from the guaranteed amount of the value of the bond at the time of maturity. Currently, American bonds with a maturity of up to two years are a good opportunity on the market,” says Kostadinovski.
