Working with young people on the topic of financial literacy is always a pleasure for us. For the second year in a row, thanks to the trust given to us by the “Youth Can” Association, a team of trainers, part of the Capital Financial Center, our Biljana Stankovska Arsova, Dejan Arsov and Hristijan Pejovski spoke on several topics related to finance last week as part of the financial literacy program for young people for the needs of the “All for You(th)” project, financed by the European Commission.
Within the framework of the program, the visitors acquired practical skills on how to manage the personal and family budget, set short-term and long-term financial goals, got acquainted with the participants and instruments of the capital market, banking products and services, the pension system and what types of insurance exist. This event also covered the topic: crypto currencies – digital money, investment or gambling, digital wallets. The visitors were shown the difference between a classic saver and an investor, they got acquainted with the way mutual funds function, the strategies of investing, the compounding effect as well as the cost average effect.
