The Council of the National Bank held a regular session at which the Decision was adopted to amend and supplement the Decision on the manner and conditions under which residents who are not authorized banks can open and have accounts abroad. With the adopted changes and additions, the opportunities for opening and having an account abroad by residents are expanded for the purposes of transactions with securities abroad. More specifically, with the proposed changes and additions, in addition to a foreign bank, residents can also have an account:
At an authorized participant of a foreign stock exchange or an organized securities market;
With payment institutions or institutions for electronic money abroad for commercial purposes, but also for securities trading if they are also authorized participants of a foreign stock exchange or an organized securities market.
