How young people can properly save and invest their money as a life skill has begun to be recognized by high school students from Bitola and Struga through the financial literacy program organized by the association Youth Can.
Hristijan Pejovski, a member of the team at Kapital Financial Center and Kapital Asset Management, shared his knowledge and experience with the students to help them understand the importance of financial literacy, personal finance management, and setting and achieving financial goals.
“Through interactive team exercises, participants learned how to manage income and expenses, set and reach financial goals, and make better decisions for their future. They also discovered the difference between saving and investing and, through real-life examples, learned when it’s wiser to be a saver and when to be an investor,” explained Pejovski.
Drawing on his many years of experience in financial education through the Kapital Financial Center and his professional work as an investment advisor at Kapital Asset Management, Pejovski shared inspiring and practical examples to guide young people on their path to financial independence.
The training sessions with the youth were held at Europe House in Bitola and in Struga, as part of the financial literacy program within the All for You(th) project, funded by the European Commission.
